About us

Flaten’s Campsite by Lake Flaten has been welcoming guests since the 1950s and has become a much-loved destination for many visitors. Today, the campsite is run by Anton and Johanna, who, together with their family, have owned the campsite since 2023. We live nearby and have a long and heartfelt connection to the area. With great care and dedication, we continue to develop and look after the campsite while preserving the charm that makes this place so special.

The campsite currently offers around 35 pitches, with and without electricity, several of which are located right by the lake with beautiful water views. The pitches are suitable for caravans, motorhomes, and tents. During the high season, an additional meadow area is available with extra tent pitches. We also offer 9 cabins for rent. Guests staying with us also have access to fresh water and facilities for grey water and waste disposal.

For the 2026 season, a new reception building is being constructed, allowing us to continue investing in and developing the campsite for the future.
